I’m a digital-only type of person. No sticky notes for me! Nuh-uh. I keep binders in the cloud where they’re accessible from anywhere, easily searchable, and nothing ever gets lost. My Scrivener setup is a super-organized work of art. My writer’s notebook sparks joy!
Except… my plot wasn’t plotting and it’s big enough I couldn’t see the whole thing in a ‘big picture’ way unless I zoomed out so far I could no longer read the type. I came to the painful conclusion that all those published authors who use poster-sized paper and take over whole walls with post-its know what they’re talking about. So…
It’s sticky notes for me! They’ve taken over my wall, but at least I was able to see the whole plot and figure out where the problem was occurring.
